Session DescriptionThe Center for Advancement of Wellness (The Center) located in the Oklahoma State Department of Health has recently restructured to form a technical assistance center, focused on reducing Obesity and Tobacco morbidity by concentrating on Physical Activity, Nutrition and Tobacco Use Prevention strategies throughout the state. The Center offers a variety of services serving multiple sectors including: Health Care Systems, Family Health, Schools, Worksites, Community and Places of Entertainment. The Center also has content focused specialists in physical activity, nutrition, obesity reduction, cessation, clean indoor air and tobacco use prevention as well as strategic planning, data and surveillance, evaluation and training. The presenters aim to lay out the variety of ways we can partner with participants to provide support to help achieve their outcomes.
